Why did we add goFAT®: A suite of fatty acids derived from the purest sources
goFAT® is a breakthrough low-carb ingredient, a suite of unique, high-potency, keto-friendly fat powders including CLA, coconut, macadamia, and olive oil. Fat can promote a full feeling, help maintain blood sugar in already healthy ranges, and improve taste and texture in products.
MCT was our previous choice, however, the quantity of MCT that can be used is limited by the GI distress it could cause. MCT also results in a very short-acting source of energy. Using goFAT® has allowed us to not only have a creamy easily mixed product but also allows us to have a product that is long-lasting in our body resulting in all the benefits associated with the various suite of oils found in this product.
